Here's Mike outside his office waving goodby as I leave heading for New Orleans, Louisiana.The ride is 515 miles. I left at 2pm. I rode till about eight and stopped about half way at Alexandria, La. I got caught in some rain, so I decided to quit at sunset. In the morning, first I'm going to the local Harley dealer to check the bike. I think she might have developed a very slight shimmy yesterday as I was riding on about fifty miles of very rough road. The road was about to be repaved and they do that thing of chewing up the old pavement so the new layer will grab. This went on for about fifty miles. I think a couple of spokes may have to be tightened or something. We'll see.
