On to The Crazy Horse Memorial. This 563ft sculpture was commisioned by Native Americans about sixty years ago. The sculptor, a man by the name of Korczak, refused any government assistance. In fact, he worked alone on this for about 15 years. Korczak has since passed away but his family is still working on the project and still refues govt. assistance. All money comes from donations. This thing is about 15 times bigger than Rushmore and a long way from completion. Posted by Picasa
